CASH AND MATCHING GIFTS

The easiest way to support Tel-Hi is to write a check made payable to "Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center." Your cash contribution may be designated for a specific Tel-Hi program, or it may be unspecified, making it available to meet Tel-Hi’s most pressing needs at that time.

Cash gifts are tax-deductible up to 50% of your adjusted gross income. If your gift exceeds this amount, you may carry forward the excess deduction on your income tax returns for up to five years.

Many companies will also match donations made by their employees, directors, employees’ domestic partners, and retirees. Having your employer match your Tel-Hi gift is the easiest way for you to increase your contribution and to spread the word about the Center’s work in the community at the same time. Please ask your employer if your company has a matching gifts policy.
