The Expanded Learning Program, open to grades 6-8, is a cooperative effort with Francisco Middle School and the San Francisco Unified School District. All activities take place at FMS, while Tel-Hi brings the resources necessary for the operation of a quality program. The Expanded Learning Program’s goals, objectives, and activities are designed and evaluated with the help of Tel-Hi youth to foster their academic achievement, leadership skills, physical development, personal enrichment, and community activism. Activities include tutorial, computer classes, martial arts, painting and drawing, photography, gardening, discussion groups, and community service.

More than 100 youth participate in the Expanded Learning Program Monday - Friday during the academic year. There is no enrollment fee for the program.
