Teen Leadership Program (ages 13 -17)

Our year-long life skills development program is serving 33 teens this year, expanded from 22 last year!
We help prepare and support young people as they make choices that will guide their transitions into adulthood. 

Program highlights include:

• College and career exploration including field trips to local colleges and businesses 
• Skill building in conflict resolution, decision making, public speaking, writing, and leadership 
• Job training through internships in Tel-Hi’s programs 
• Community service activities at Tel-Hi and throughout the city 
• Participation in citywide youth activities and events 
• Stipends up to $800 annually per teen participant

The application process for each new TLP group takes place in April, and the yearlong commitment begins in June.
