We invite you to join the Friends of Tel-Hi.
The Friends of Tel-Hi is a new group of volunteers who aim to contribute to our community through supporting the people and programs of Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center (Tel-Hi). We are neighbors, alumni of Tel-Hi’s programs, local business people, and volunteers. We support Tel-Hi because it has been a wonderful resource for children, families and seniors in the North Beach and Chinatown neighborhoods since 1890.
Our goals are to:
Increase awareness about Tel-Hi
Raise funds to support the center’s programs
Have fun while supporting a great cause
The Friends of Tel-Hi meet the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Denise McCarthy Room at Tel-Hi. All are welcome! For more information contact:

Guests at Breakfast for Books, a fundraising event held on October 4, 2009, enjoy pancakes, a book sale, music, and more. Proceeds from the event support Tel-Hi's literacy programs.
